The application process for liquor shops licenses in AP will end today. Officials said that so far 65 thousand 424 applications have been received across the state.

Officials expect a large number of applications to come today as well.

NTR district received the highest number of applications for liquor licenses at 4,839, followed by Eluru district with 4,260 applications.

Officials disclosed that 4 thousand 110 applications were received in Vizianagaram and 869 liquor applications were received in Alluri Seetharamaraju district.

As the liquor application process will end at 5 pm, the officials are expecting that there is a possibility of filing huge tenders.

Step-by-Step Procedure for Applying for a Liquor License in Andhra Pradesh

To obtain a liquor license, follow these steps by submitting your application online:

Step 1: Visit the Andhra Pradesh Prohibition and Excise Department**

Go to the official website: http://www.cpe.ap.gov.in

Step 2: New User Registration

Click on the “Sign Up” button on the homepage.

Fill in the required information in the registration form.

Enter the address of the unit for which you are applying.

Click “Submit” to complete registration.

Step 3: Login to the Portal

Use your user ID and password to log in to the Excise Department Portal.

Step 4: Application for New Liquor License

Click on the “New Liquor License” tab.

Select the Gazette number of the shop.

Choose the type of license you wish to apply for; this will open the specific application page.

Step 5: Fill in Required Information

Complete all mandatory fields in the application form.

Step 6: Upload Documents

After filling out the application, upload all required documents and click the “Submit” button.

Step 7: Make Payment

Select the “E-payment” option on the portal’s homepage.

Click the “Make Payment” button to go to the E-challan page. Choose your Bank Name for online payment and click “Submit.”

Enter the license type details, select the challan number, and click “Save and Proceed” to submit your payment.

Step 8: Submit the Application Form

Your application will be verified and processed by the Excise Superintendent.

You can view, print, and download your hall ticket for the lottery process.

Step 9: Print Acknowledgment Receipt

A confirmation message will indicate that your application has been registered successfully.

Save and print the acknowledgment receipt by clicking the ‘Print’ button.

Step 10: License Issuance

The selected applicant will receive a license in Form A-4 after completing necessary formalities and complying with location regulations.
